The Canary Isles belong to one of Europe's most popular holiday resorts and retirement communities. Particularly Tenerife emphasizes itself ; due to its variety, the largest island of the Canaries is also known as the island of two faces. During winter time snow covers the highest mountain of Spain (Teide 3,718 mtr.) and at the same time one can swim in the Atlantic with a ca.18º C water temperature. Whether desert landscape or dark forests, Tenerife offers something for any taste. The balanced climate is unique world wide with temperatures varying between18º C and 28º C. The bulk of tourism concentrates itself more towards the south of the island with its beaches and guaranteed sun, while in the north the long-term vacationer and permanent homeowner found his paradise. The absolute favorite place there is the Orotava Valley with its unique flora and scenery. Where else can one find an impressive variety of nature, scenery, folkloric culture and quality of life on such limited space. In  the heart of this valley of flowers and banana plantations lies the vacation metropolis Puerto de la Cruz, also known as the "capital of the north ". It offers everything qualifying for a perfect vacation: The world largest Parrot Park with Delphinarium, Aquarium with water tunnels, Penguins, Flamingos, etc., the world largest artificial sea water swimming pool system, park systems, beaches, nightclubs, international cuisine, casino and much more. As well as 8.73 qkm of developments of which about 70% is cultivated with apartment and hotels of all size and class structures including three 5 Star Hotels, catering to any vacation desire.
In contrast, only 3 km away, one finds the city of "Villa de la Orotava" world famous for its flower carpets - the Romeria - without any mass tourism, where the originality of the Canary culture still prevails distinguished excellently by historical patrician homes and their beautiful inner courts. Here, only three
hotels with a total of only 25 rooms exist.
All in all, Tenerife is just the island, offering something for every taste and guaranteeing an all season spring.
All this can be achieved in approx. 4 hours flying time from Central Europe and one still remains in the European culture with its functioning infrastructure. Therefore, it is only logical that many thousands acquired property, either as permanent residence, vacation home, retirement domicile or as a capital investment.
The extension of the EEC, as well as the opening of new markets toward the east suggest a new boom and real estate prices already are noticeably beginning to rise; especially on an island were land is particularly scarce.
We - the Inmobiliaria Starck Europe, one of the prominent real estate companies on the market with more than 30 years island experience, will gladly advise you on the purchase of apartments, bungalows, mansions, estates, Fincas or business real estates of any type.
